REV MOTHER ESTHER AJAYI: AN ICON WORTHY OF EMULATION
As expected, it was another epoch-making event as the highly respected Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi recently commissioned yet another just-completed cathedral in Victoria Island, Lagos-Nigeria.
Many people interviewed were of the opinion that having Rev. Mother Ajayi has been a great blessing for the congregation in Nigeria and worldwide as well as humanity in general.

The Founder of the Love of Christ Generation Church Cherubim & Seraphim (Worldwide), Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi, was full of praises to almighty God for the completion of the cathedral situated at the Oniru axis of Victoria Island, Lagos.
The church dedication was graced by who is who in religious, traditional and political arena across the country.
According to Mother Ajayi, achieving such a great feat will become impossible without total obedience to God.
“Our being here is rooted in faith and obedience to the voice of the creator of the universe. In 2017, God instructed me to depart United Kingdom and return to Nigeria because he wanted to use me all over the world,” she said.
She tasked belivers to be steadfast in all they do, saying that total obedience to Jesus Christ would lead to greatness.
Christians, associates and guests at the event were in high spirit as the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye impacted lives through a sermon titled; ‘The Way.’

Pastor Adeboye’s message centered on focusing unto Jesus Christ as the only one that can solve all problems and sicknesses with wholeness, joy and true freedom.
Meanwhile, Rev. Samson Ayokunle, President, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), urged Nigerians to live in peace especially in a time like this.
“Regardless of the fact that things are falling apart, Nigeria will be a better place if we can be united for a progressive course,” Ayokunle advised.
He said that for Nigeria to progress and become united, the citizenry must look beyond religious and political division and work together for the common good.
He added that no man could be an island as all Christian denominations were interdependent.
In his remarks, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife, stated that man can only speak of today while God alone sees tomorrow.
The Ooni thanked God for the life of Rev Ajayi, her husband and their family.
“I am very close to this family. If Rev Mother Esther Ajayi tells you what she has gone through, we will all know that indeed, God is great.
I am happy because she has obtained God’s mercy,” the Ooni said.
The traditional ruler further urged the congregation to pray for the family of the Ajayis for divine protection, direction and expansion of the church.
Other key personalities at the event included the Executive Governor of Lagos State Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu ably represented by Mr Kola Adeleke; Special Assistant to the governor on Christian Religion matters; former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, former Governor of Ogun State Otunba Gbenga Daniel; His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, Abisogun II, Oba Oniru of Iru land, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, the Oluwo of Iwo in Osun State, and other traditional rulers.
Others dignitaries at the event were Prophet Isa El-Buba, General Overseer of the Evangelical Outreach Ministries International; Lady Bishops as well as wives of general overseers.
The hall of the gigantic edifice has a 4000 seaters capacity and a gallery to conveniently cater for 3000 guests.
Other sections of the attractive building are printing room, sewing room, gym centre, clinic, swimming pool and a host of others.
Rev. Ademuyiwa Ajayi was full of praises to God almighty while acknowledging all those who were there to honour God.
This and many other angelic gestures and actions are indeed pointers to the fact that Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi is a great icon worthy of emulation.
